This role is for gardeners who are self motivated and would enjoy leading a small team of like minded colleagues. It is an advantage to have minimum Level 2 in Horticulture for this position.
This is a casual position and as a Leader you are even more in control of what days and hours you’d like to work. Leaders begin their Weeding Women journey as a Gardening Assistant and after the required experience, training and confidence is gained then further specialist training is carried out to promote you to the next level of Leader. It can take up to three months to have all the skills you need for this position. Of course up until that time you are working, earning and learning as a Gardening Assistant.
